Enterprising Newcastle

Who are we?

Enterprising Newcastle is a Newcastle City Council led initiative that works in partnership with business support organisations to ensure that clients get the support that they need to develop their business ideas and to encourage business growth in the city

The Enterprising Newcastle support team are available at the

• Civic Centre
• Enterprise Support Centre - East
• Enterprise Support Centre - West

Enterprising Newcastle focuses on the following areas of activity:

• Start-up support - a team member will help you develop a business idea and ensure that you get the most appropriate support to help you to take it forward.
• Existing business support - experienced advisors will explore your business issues, helping you to develop a way forward and brokering in additional support where appropriate.
• Premises – receive advice and guidance on a range of flexible accommodation throughout the City.
• Enterprise for young people – working in schools, colleges, universities and youth centres to deliver a range of ‘real life’ enterprise activities and support, focussed on business start up and social enterprise.
• Social Enterprise – specialist advice is available if you intend your business to operate as a social business.
